To lead the further development, and successfully manage the Global Life Finance Function for Indonesia within the context of a shared service function and aligned with Global Life’s strategic direction and objectives
To lead, manage and develop a team of finance professionals
To serve as the primary finance business partner for the business division. Serve as sparring partner to CEO and Senior Management Team driving performance and plan delivery
Manage the planning and performance management team and processes
Manage selectively Finance Operations Processes and transition Finance Organization into the longer term shared service model
Manage and monitor finance service level agreements both from a provider and customer perspective
Manage the corporate actuarial team (headed by the Chief Actuary) that is responsible for the local statutory reporting, setting of financial assumptions
Support the business growth through providing financial and risk perspectives on business issues and managing the relationship with MOF
Review and Sign off all regulatory filings
Review and Sign off all Group Reporting

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for review and sign-off of local statutory, financial and management reports / return
Manage an efficient and effective Finance Operations Team (collection & payments), optimizing the usage of technology to maximize the level of automation
Ensure the company's solvency position is maintained by regularly performing asset and liability valuations, monitor investment performance and asset / liability matching position
Represent the company when dealing with the regulator on local statutory and solvency issues
Contribute to the profitable financial management of the company by developing and maintaining financial projection models to produce financial projections based on different future scenarios to assist planning and making business decisions
Regularly monitor company’s experience against pricing, valuation, and planning assumptions and recommend basis for future pricing, projection and valuations
Develop and maintain effective cost monitoring processes to support the Senior Management Team to maintain a lean organization and manage towards achieving business plans and objectives
Evaluate and monitor direct reports’ performance in order to increase productivity and meet performance goals
Develop a capable and cost-effective team through coaching, training and leading

Key Performance Indicators:
Quality, timeliness and relevance of Financial Reporting and Commentary
Meeting Service Levels as agreed with Business and Shared Service Customers
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations at all times
Recognized and respected Finance Function with turnover on par or lower than industry
Lean Finance Function when benchmarked against other BUs in the Region

Should hold an advanced Overseas University Degree in Accounting and ideally business management, be professionally certified in accounting (CPA or its equivalent) and have at least 10 years experience in this position
Preferably from Life Insurance or General Insurance Background
Strong in English communication skills
Have a strong leadership skills, and ability to lead and guide the team well
Strong in Financial Guidelines and understand Corporate Tax
