Sr. Officer - Enterprise Data Warehouse
Responsibilities
- Analyze data requirements and specifications from users and enhance the logic to ensure all requirements comprehensively captured and developed in optimized method.
- Establish EDW database from various data sources to enable EDW system as centralized and integrated repository.
- Develop and analyze ETL (Extract Transform Loader)/script/program and its enhancement to support data enquires from all related departments.
- Identify and analyze problem related with data quality, discrepancies, anomalies, trending to ensure accuracy and completeness data delivered.
- Analyze daily BOD (Board of Director) reports to ensure its validity.
- Identify and gather data sources to enable data profiling and insight generation for business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably from informatics/computer/telecommunication engineering or related IT engineer
- Minimum of 4 years experience in data warehouse, preferably with exposures on Application/ETL/Database development or programming
- Strong knowledge in Oracle database, Oracle PL /SQL and SQL concept
- Strong knowledge in UNIX shell scripting, ETL/application programming
- Good knowledge and exposure to Enterprise DBMS preferably Teradata and Oracle
- Good business acumen, good knowledge of telecom market & business processes
- Good understanding in English (written and spoken)
- Good understanding of data warehouse concept
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Good communication skill
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ready to work 24 hours on call for operational support
